Let This Bond Last For Ever...

Friends 4Ever

A literature class was going on when a student says, “But Ma’am, how can they fight when they were the best of friends?”, while five rows behind, the two seatmates murmur and giggle among themselves, “there she goes again”.
The teacher says, “It happens, dear. Now tell me, how many of you would still be friends, 5 years down the lane?” “You might say a yes now, but you won’t be, people drift away with time”.
The two backbenchers looked at each other and winked making the same unsaid promise “we will be, no matter what”.
Misunderstandings, personal grudges, heartbreaks, lost conversations and 3 years dissolved that promise like salt in water.
One day, one of the duo uploads on social media: “ we promised to not let go, but now you are just somebody that I used to know”.
Suddenly, minutes later, the phone rings.
On the other side of the phone, a voice says, “you know you don’t have to be so dramatic, just call me up”, “I miss you too.”

Taking Care
“I told you to pack your things according to travel list”
He scolded her with a low but hard voice.
She said sorry yaar..with a sad face.
“I just forget a blanket.” she said while making the little cat face.
“Then sleep without blanket tonight, in this chilling weather.” He said with his taunting voice.
In the night after she dozed off, he silently put his blanket over her.

Having Best Friend
Two good friends had a quarrel one day, and one of them slapped another. The man felt pain, but said nothing and wrote on the sand: “Today my best friend slapped me.”
Two friends continued walking and found an oasis. They decided to swim in a wellspring and suddenly the one who was slapped, started to sink, but his friend saved him.
When he regained consciousness, he wrote on the stone: “Today my best friend saved my life.”
The other friend, who slapped and saved his friend’s life, asked him:
– When I hurt you, you wrote on the sand and now you are writing on the stone. Why?
His friend said:
– When someone hurts us, we should write it on the sand, so that the wind could erase it. But when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it on the stone, so that the wind could not erase it.
A Real Friend
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party. A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history. A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument. A real friend calls you after you had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!
